this site says 5h...that BF2sv program I have says it's 25h...but only one of mine shows up. 

edit - oops, I guess I should have said that most of mine are over 5h and several are over 25h, including Spetnaz, which is the only SF RIbbon that shows.

To obtain the SF service ribbons u need 50 hours in theater in addition to have played all maps with SAS, Spetnaz and so on.

See your statspage for how many hours u lack !

U have 71 hours in Spetnaz theater and u have the ribbon.

U have 48 hours in SAS theater - 2 more hours and u`ll have that ribbon :-)

I doubt these settings work for MEC- Rebel- and Insurgent- Army Ribbon, since I got Ins. b4 I reached 50 h theater and 20 h playtime. So far many people couldnt get MEC and Rebel after 50 hours theater / 20 h army yet.

SAS, Spetznaz and Navy should be the right requiments

Yes for SAS, Spetznas, Navy Seals and Rebels you need 50h in theater.

But for Insurgents you need only 43h in theater.

The MECSF and Insurgents ribbons are kinda fucked since the last patch

Ive seen ppl get the MECSF ribbon at 50h theatre in 1.12 but I had to do 60h theatre in 1.22

Also I was recently awarded the Insergent ribbon at 40h theatre

Go figure ?

It is 50 hours in theater + 20 hours on that army.  No other requirements.  You do not have to play all maps with that army.  Remember it takes EA a couple hours to update stats, so you might not get it the minute you hit those 2 magic numbers, but when EA updates, it will award it to you.  I timed it within minutes, logged off, waited for EA to update, and bingo... spot on.

Now I'm not doubting you here, just curious. But can you explain why my friend doesn't have it. We haven't been able to figure this out, and I'm wondering if we are just looking at it wrong.

Just for refence, What is the difference between "Time as the class" and "Time in theter"?

I belive that time as the class is self-explanitory and that you need to be that class for a certian ammount of time. Now time as theater is differnt, to get time in theater for a class you just need to play a level which holds that class, so you could play Warlord as Insurgon and get SAS and Insurgeon Theater time.

someone correct me if im wrong, but that is what i think it is.

With service ribons, it is 50 hours playing on levels with those armies on, normaly you should get two service ribons at once. As for medals I think it is 50 hours with one particular army and a BRS (Best Round Score) of 100 or greater. Hope that helps.
