walking through the STALKER landscapes i wasn't struck with awe or being impressed, at all... it was just boring-boring-boring, all the way to the horizon.

Hey, I haven't mentioned pirating in a while now, I just wanted to express how little the games are worth to me

Gameplay is awful, as I mentioned above, and my graphics card was hitting 90C with 80% fan speed and it didn't even look good.

STALKER: COP has pretty impressive lightning effects in DX11 Full Dynamic Lightning setting. There is really sweet atmospheric mod for it that more than triples view distance, makes the sky look nice and add all kinds of additional effects. Combine that with high resolution texture pack and it looks pretty good.

Gameplay is very solid, story wasn't so great in the last 2 STALKER games, game engine runs like crap (single core support and limited ram support in todays game wtf),....

Lots of fun but they really need to fix the performance issues. It keeps loading shit off HDD all the time because it doesn't understand how to use necessary amount of ram to load everything at once.

Shadow of Chernobyl was best STALKER game imo.

Don't understand how movement and controls would be fucked, it is just like every other fps.

PS. It is your cards fault if it can't even handle 100% load properly...

They were actually quite surprising.

I've not yet met a game that can do that to my card, only burn tests get it that hot and fast fan.

I think what he was referring to by "plays like shit" is "doesn't work well on my hardware" less "is bad in gameplay".

And even if he did mean that, it's pretty all encompassing, for me to have been able to pass an opinion that was not Uziques, I would have had to say it was good, which is not how I feel.
