Yeah, I was actually thinking of voting 1 for them initially, but some things I disagree on, and their whole labor thing, I dunno. I just feel more secure with the libs.

Liberals here would be somewhat similar to your Republicans, as in they're more right of centre. Labor is more like the Democrats*, as in more left of centre. They're pretty similar a lot of the time though.KuSTaV wrote:

Yeah well I did vote Labor last election, and since then directly because of the union my wages have increased by $5 per hour which is still rising due to a Commonwealth legislation for equal pay, something they had been pushing for 11 years but couldn't get any traction before because the Liberals don't care about the health sector cause it doesn't make money for big business and in fact pulled money out of health and education, except for the private hospitals and schools which are already richer than the state funded schools. Go figure.
Anyway, I shouldn't rant like this but I may need to get another glass of red...
