The story on the first one was dreadful but co-op with Krazed was pretty fun.
Trailer for the first looks way better. This one looked kinda cheap...

I just hope those are ingame graphics and not tarted up (with regards to the scenery)...they did that with the first game and I was really disappointed.

Well just played the demo. For one I just couldn't fly properly, but that migtht just be me. The game is basically still the same, the hud has been changed a bit and they added some new goodies. There are two missions in the demo. The first you play for the 'good russians' against the insurgents in a classic all out air battle, kind of like the mission in Brasil in Hawx. Also you get to refuel in mid air, which is new too.
The second is where Hawx 2 gets more exciting. It is a Seek and Destroy mission in the middle of the night. You fly around a F35B with nightvision goggles and get to take off a carrier. Proceed to bomb a few cargo ships. However the bombing is done totally different in contrast to Hawx, where at first you'd align this huge circle till it went red and then drop a bomb, now you actually go in 'bombardier mode' (don't know how to call it) and bomb like that, so that definitly was a nice upgrade in terms of bombing. Then you proceed to gun down a few choppers, bomb an airfield, shoot down migs and land safely back onto the carrier.
On a side not I did suffer from a few framedrops, when flying through a huge explosion for example. Other than that, it looks like a good game.

If it had just a tad more realism than the the original, it should be pretty damn fun.
HAWX the first one was ok quite short lived. This one is pretty much the same but now you have to actually go into options to change camera which is lame. I'm still not entirely convinced I mean it's ok but seems like a mission pack to me. I know there is take off, landing and refuelling but nothing else amazing really.

If it´s not worse than the first, I´m down.
I'd say it is about the same. Don't know why they didn't put out a pc demo (maybe they will I dunno), have more control on PC so it would be nice to see how it compares to HAWX.
