I'll have to check out Carpenter's Vampires. Never heard of it until now, unless it was just forgotten. Seen Dusk till Dawn and Night/Daywatch. I'll take a look at Cronos and Near Dark, if I can find them at my local video rental store (I like supporting Lakewood's 'Movies to Go').

I care enough about games and books to hate seeing them destroyed by film adaptations because then I gotta sit through people going "oh that...I saw the movie, and I didn't think it was that great." Uwe Boll probably means well, but he's a serial-destroyer of game stories. BloodRayne's wasn't that complex, but even the film didn't do it justice.
