Just tried my headphones this morning, worked for 2 minutes then cut out completely. The receipt isn't anywhere where I'd usually put it, and I don't have the bank statement anymore from when I bought them. If I can find the thingy they emailed me when I bought them would that be enough to claim warranty?

EDIT- So I've got my receipt for my headphones emailed back to me, they are out of warranty on the site I bought them from, but still within the manufacturers warranty. I can send them back if the site I bought them off was registered with Sennheiser. Just got an email saying they are indeed registered with Sennheiser. How the fuck do I do this then? I have never claimed anything on warranty before?

1) The shop will send them back to the manufacturer and you'll have to wait for them to be fixed. Then the manufacturer sends them back to the shop, and the shop gives them back to you
2) The shop will send them back to the manufacturer and give you an identical pair on the manufacturer's behalf
3) The shop will send them back to the manufacturer and you'll be given a replacement pair, not necessarily the same, but of similar spec (maybe better!)
