It's out . I still haven't made my mind up if I like it. I am still in pre season so until I get to regular season I'll make my mind up then. I already intercepted a pass and ran in for a TD

Is it actually worth the upgrade over 10 though?
If you like 10 stick with 10. I don't really see anything different accept the intro scene which as Drew Brees pumping you up. I think it's a little easier than 10 how ever.
Picked it up. Last Madden I played was '09, so I feel like it's a lot different. Definitely a shitload of fun though... love the added realism with tailgating, halftime stuff and after game interviews.
This is going to be the first Madden I won't buy since '01. But anyway, looks like another usual Madden game from the few videos I've watched.
EDIT: apparently it's a sub-par Madden from what I've been seeing and reading.

It seems 10 was a big jump from the other years. This one is not much different than 10. Not worth buying right now imo.
Came to a conclusion that 10 is harder.

"Try as it might, the video game industry just can’t catch a break this year.

Sales are down 8 percent year-to-date from 2009’s disappointing numbers. Even the most optimistic analysts are now saying that the best investors can hope for is a flat year. And this week has brought new signs that could indicate further weakness—specifically for Electronic Arts [ERTS 15.79 -0.28 (-1.74%) ] and game retailer GameStop [GME 18.81 -0.25 (-1.31%) ].
Just one week after its flagship franchise hit the streets, EA is already seeing retailers dramatically discount this year’s installment of “Madden NFL”. Amazon [AMZN 127.76 0.19 (+0.15%) ], Wal-Mart [WMT 50.22 0.16 (+0.32%) ] and GameStop have all dropped the price from $60 to $50."
Interesting. Maybe if other companys get hit hard to they will have to lower prices as well.
