Not sure if these have been mentioned before, but these are the bugs that I experience most often and would love to be fixed:

1. Defib error, if you click at the wrong time (too quickly usually) it doesnt work, often giving a stuttering defib sound, but no animation.

2. Parachutes not opening, if you touch anything while you are falling you can't open a parachute, 90% of my suicides are from parachutes not opening as they are expected to ( There is no point using the word 'realism' when answering this point, try junping off a 20 foot building, deploying a parachute successfully, then packing it in <5 secs, its already wildly unrealistic, I just want the parachute to open reliably).

3. Heli guided missile locks, by this i mean u can click on the screen as often as you like but the missile won't fire, you have to change to gun view then back to missile to make it work again.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but often I see a claymore at an extreme distance and the thing goes of without me anywhere near it, other times claymores can be within a foot or two of a player, including me and not go off, the range seems to vary by a huge amount, shouldn't they only detonate if u touch them?

Finally since 1.2 I think it was, when I get into a chopper on certain maps I get pausing of the game, anyone else experience this?

All i can say is if u can see the claymore and the front is towards u, u are screwed.

The IRL claymore is deadly up to 50 meters and have a dangerzone of 100 meters.

the parachute - my friend is an avid parachutist - he just calls it HANO or LANO - high altitude no opening - blames me for packing his chute ,,,,

I've no doubt a clarmore is deadly at that range, but they don't explode when you enter a 50 metre radius, they explode when you step on them or the tripwire.

In bf2, the range seems to be screwed up and I think it may be caused by the way they have programmed the claymores. You can run in and drop a claymore right in front of a player, but it won't explode until that player moves out of its range and a player comes into its range again, although if you step right on it it may do.

So when a claymore is placed in a busy area (like an enemy spawn point) you can have multiple people running right by claymores that would usually explode at twice the distance.

lol. just place them up the stairs they explode for sure. or around corners can do some nice kills took 3 people out last night. but sometimes i,m like WTF! how did he get passed my Claymore!!!

but another bug added

Hit bug : Stabbing with a knife a couple of times and nothing happens and as an sniper with a clear shot at the head and nothing happens....this is starting to piss me off sometimes especialy when that guy turns around and BLAM 1 shot and i,m down

It's definatly scrwed up because they explode every time i see them and i think:
"Hey there is a enemy claymore, i better stop here and don't go further."
But before my thought has ended i am already dead becuase that claymore just went off without me tripping on it. Hopefully they will also have fixed that in the upcoming patch.

I also experienced your 1 -3.

I should have added knifing to my list, its very difficult to knife someone reliably, often see puffs of smoke like you just stabbed a wall but no kill, usually this is helped by not pressing any direction keys when you knife. Seems to be an acurracy issue when you are moving.

Claymores are directional and can only be set off from the front side.

Uhm wtf? Not really... actually the M18A1 claymore mine can be triggered by various kinds of fuses, including infrared, acoustic, vibration bla bla sensors... almost every thing you can imagine.

Not a bug. You have to wait for the timer.

Not a bug. That's how it is.

Known bug, supposedly patched but I still see it happen from time to time. Switch to map view (caps lock).

Claymores fire in a 180 degree arc from the front. You can stand directly behind one without detonating it. The range is always the same, which I believe is 10-15ftt in the game.

Sounds like a hardware issue. Soundcard/vidcard.

one more bug

if you are in a vehicle and you type, and the last word of your message ends in the letter e, when you press enter you get ejected from the vehicle.  they need to fix that.  I'm going to post this suggestion somewhere else where people who need to read it will read it, I think...

I'm so glad that is not just me... i thought i was doing something wrong lol.  It just happened to me last night I finally got into a j-10 on wake just to type they are capping north base and the -e on the end of the word booted me out of my jet -.-

Another annoying one, if I'm dead and looking for a different place to spawn on the map and the time limit runs out it spawns me automatically. If I'm looking at the map, isn't it logical that I may be choosing a different spawn point? Similarly I could be trying to use the map and it gets minimised because of something else, very frustrating.

As to the claymore comment, it was totally irrelevent, the clarmores on the game detonate on proximity and that proximity seems to vary, often being much too large.

Here is a good one.

Playing Karkand, I am commander of USA and my arty fires all by itself on my guys. I am like WTF and my guys are screaming at me - Mutiny vote, the whole shabang. As soon as my arty recharges - same thing, before I can click on it and send an arty strike, it fires on my guys. My only conclusion is that somehow the MEC commander was firing my arty. The second time I zoomed in on MEC arty to see if it weas firing and it was not.

I saw the arty thing on Wake. The PLA arty was firing and I had an empty bar for it (like when its destroyed). He was getting like 6 arty guns...fucking cheap.



Something that needs to be fixed is using enter as your vehicle key. You cant send messages if it is. If you do, you get ejected. It wasnt like that in BF1942. EA/DICE: stick to what works!
