Which one...
Inception 10/10
So, how do we know the entire movie was not a dream sequence.

We don't. Maybe you only dreamt that you saw it ...
It was a snore fest.mikeshw wrote:

One with Anthony Hopkins and Hugo Weaving.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
The men who stare at goats.
5/10. Funny at times, most of it just made me go wtf.

No, I don't need an attitude adjustment. You just need to fuck off.
The Other Guys
9/10
First 20 minutes was slow, but still had some funny parts. After that, Hilarious. My boy Marky Mark and Will Ferrell put on a great show together.

Every battle was in the trailer IIRC. The movie is great though, I love the action scenes. The Batman scene was the best.loubot wrote:
I haven't mentioned until now but all of the good scenes are on the trailers, and this is the top scene. I wish the movie producers did not use this scene as a trailer...oh well. All what is left is dialogue and dry humping.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

What do the haters have to say about Nick Cage now?unnamednewbie13 wrote:
Kick-Ass: 9/10
There were awkward scenes, but Nick Cage made it all look like it was on purpose. Great 'comic book' movie, and I'll rewatch way more than X-Men 3 (5.5/10)
And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.
Death at a Funeral 6.8 & 6.5 /10 respectively
actually I'd seen the original (?) brit version some time ago, and now I just saw the american version
both are fun in a light comedy way but the brits did better I think. Or maybe I just remember it to be better I dunno...

So I saw Inception for a second time... and I found it really, really boring. Like a 6-7/10, tops. There are so many repeated scenes and it just drones on and on in parts.
'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' tonight, unless I fall asleep first. Time spent awake, not the movie.
Hot Tub Time Machine

Twilight 3
an improvement/10 (better than the first two, and better than some vampire movies)
If it wasn't for the names and excessive melodrama, I would've thought I was watching some sort of Vampire: The Masquerade film.

Kick-Ass
9.5/10, up by a half a point by the time I was finished with my third viewing.
Even the yikkity-yakking scenes fit in with the plot and don't do much to detract from the seriously awesome ass-kicking and great music choices. I spent like two hours today on TF2 quoting it back and forth on all talk.
This is one of the most solid 'superhero' movies I've ever seen.

I agree with you a hundred percent. The comedy was 10/10, the storyline 8/10, combined, 9/10.:blacKOut: wrote:

The golf ball scene almost made me die.
Yeah I agree, everything fit together quite well.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

I loved the mid-air reloading by Hit Girl in the last shootout. Also, the Big Daddy scene was good too. $
Darn I need to see that movie again.

Kick-Ass bummed me out. I thought it was going to be a lighthearted action-comedy, which it sort of was, but then that chick's dad gets fucking Spoiler (highlight to read):

Yeah that is very sad tbh... getting cooked alive and obviously near-death when he talks to her one last time
Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
I wanted more awesome big daddy scenes.FloppY_ wrote:

@floppy: You could literally write an essay on action movies using nothing but clips like that from Kick-Ass.
