I'm surprised he/The Glitch Mob isn't more popular.

Hear it every single day during the commute to work. Hasn't driven me mad yet, so it must be good.

Because it's Pitchfork.

E: Though I haven't listened to it, so I basically have no idea if it's good or not.

The K&D Sessions (CD1) by Kruder & Dorfmeister.

So, so, sooooo good for this Sunday evening chilling with a couple glasses of wine after a perfect day weather-wise.

Just finished the first disc and every track is fantastic, second one starting now and the opening track is proving to be equally good.

Fucking. Do it. NOW!

It's so so good. I had it on one time and my parents heard it and wanted me to burn the CD for them. Then they put it in their car and my grandparents came out to visit and they heard it and wanted me to burn it for them. Then a few weeks later my grandpa e-mailed me asking where he could find more of that, and my grandma told me to make her more CDs and send them to her.

A very chill, laid-back, down-tempo ride that you can listen to over and over again and it never gets old. This album is as close to perfection as it gets.

+ like a million.

You could put this on for so many occasions. Coming down after a big night, a few friends, some good wine and sterling conversation, to set the mood if you have that special someone around, or like me now just with my headphones and chilling after a big weekend with a nice bottle of red to relax. Just puts you in the best headspace.

errr it's actually a very good album that shows a maturity and a development of concept that is actually very impressive for a band of arcade fire's nature, i.e. racuous indie-folk sing-a-longs. great themes, great song-writing, great mixture of recent and old influences. an 8.6 is a decidedly realistic and on-the-mark rating, considering according to you cooler-than-the-hipster-cats "it's pitchfork, duh!". a typical over-blown hipster-faggot pitchfork rating would be something like the 8.5+ ratings they have given for crystal fucking castles and that insipid, dire and totally over-wrought and over-conceited 'concept' album by gorillaz (gorillaz can take a lesson in how to develop a decent concept album with modesty and artistic integrity).
