TBF it was a Stoke fan with the shotgun...

But it it just really annoys how the media and a lot of younger fans (i.e. fans since the Premier League) belittle Stoke, and their style of play. At the end of the day we are the 2nd oldest professional football club in the world, and therefore have a lot more history and tradition than half the more "popular" clubs nowadays. Up until the late 70's/80's which is when were last in the top league, we were one of the best sides in the country, with the likes of Alan Hudson, Dennis Smith, Geoff Hurst, Peter Shilton, Geoff Banks, Jimmy Greenhoff, John Ritchie. This was all at a time when the likes of Utd were in all fairness doing shit (and Arsenal should give a thanks for the likes of Lee Dixon and Steve Bould). If it wasn't for the roof of one of the stands blowing away we would have a permanent top flight team.
