You are well beyond answering the original argument. Nothing more.Pug wrote:
I'm well beyond that lowing.
You posted a statement where Palin has been proven to done more than MLK.
I'm waiting for you to support that statement.
I never said Palin was a greater American than MLK or anyone else. I said she accomplished the same shit if not more than MLK. IE, she has done the same things, great speaker, rallied the masses, wrote books, etc..... She has done so with lying or cheating. MLK can not make that claim. She has also been an elected official. MLK hasn't.
LMAO!! Oh I see, "they both talked about blacks". Wow what a great similarity!!eleven bravo wrote:

Where's Palin?
the second link makes me laugh. "Perhaps Martin Luther King Jr has the slight edge, because he did not plunge the nation into a bloody civil war."eleven bravo wrote:

they act like lincoln caused the whole war
The orignal argument was over a long time ago. We are somewhere in the acceptance process. I'm guessing you are still stuck in the "anger" stage.
If Palin has accomplished the same shit as MLK, how come there isn't a national holiday for her? Or a freeway?
Are WE to judge? Or should I just repost that list of most influential US leaders again?

I suppose they just randomly put them in the list instead of ranking them?
Ok so they made the same list, Edison is also on that list, yet I can find no coparison to MLK.....You said historians liken MLK to Lincoln....Link me to that, not to some fuckin list of people.Pug wrote:

Wow, top ten list.
And we continue in denial?
MLK was shit I guess, because this list is wrong.

Okay, she just died.
So where in the top ten do you put her, since we know she's higher than MLK?

never said it was wrong, I said there is no comparison to lincoln as you have claimed historians have made. So show me hte historic comparisons to lincoln. Not to a list of people that have nothing in common with each other, ( except to being on the same list )Pug wrote:

Ummm...if they ranked people on the list....
....how do you think they did that?

this reminds me of when I told lowing about my own personal account about something that happened to me and he said it was one sided

never said she was higher than MLK, I said she was not a proven liar or a proven cheat.. MLK is. So morally and ethically, she already beats him out. Never said she will have roads named after her or should. I said MLK does because the feds were threatening states that didn't name shit after him.Pug wrote:

lol well Edison is on the list, does that mean MLK and Edison compare? I guess it does, so now then explain how?Pug wrote:

Well, in the mean time you can explain how her accomplishments, which have been shown to amount to more of that than MLK's
I compare 2 people who rally crowds, 2 people who are accomplished authors, 2 people who give speeches. That is where it ends. Now the hard part. One was a governor, a mayor and a public servant. the other was a preacher and not much more. 1 is a proven liar adulterer, plagerizer, the other is not. Now how can you seriously say MLK is more accomplished than Palin?
MLK didn't do anything for America that America wasn't ready to do anyway.
I will remind you #8...
NOW:
This would be what you said. If it's not what you meant....be a man....
Ummm...one black and one is white? just kidding...lowing wrote:

It would be Edison's inventions and impacts on American's lives, aka the title of the list no?
Some people do not lack the perspective required to make such a list where they weigh each person based on their accomplishments and impact on American life.lowing wrote:

THey have all made the list for different things. I give you that.Pug wrote:

However, you claimed that historians liken MLK to Lincoln...How so? Because I can not find any such comparisons. If you wanna rephrase so be it.
But I can not find anywhere where the 2 men have been compared. Accept for elevenbravos's brilliant observation that "both spoke about black people"
No shit, this does not mean MLK and Lincoln are compared in any capacity other than making the same fuckin' list.SenorToenails wrote:

Yes, they just randomly select and rank the "100 most influential people in US History"
Still waiting for you to tell me how Palin ranks....
Still waiting for you to tell me how Palin ranks....
She didn't rank, how does this show MLK was not a cheater, a liar, a thief, a plagiarizer, immoral , unethical, and lacked integrity? Cuz there is proof he was all of those things.Pug wrote:
