For those that signed on, here are some tip's I picked up from another web site.
as soon as you get $5000 open a bank account and keep all money in there unless you are buying something. This will gain you 2% interest and 7% at level 50. Also, this will make you less attractive to attack since you have no money on you and the attacker can't get it.
Very important to buy a better house. The best you can afford the soonest you can get it. This will help you be a better criminal. Also what the house does is make it so when you train at the gym you gain more stats per training session.
Once you start building your stats and doing petty crimes you will be gaining experience. Not really a need to be attacking so soon in the game. If you get really hard pressed for money you can find some old level 1 characters that have 100 of thousands or a million or so on them. Kill them and you will get usually a couple hundred thousand (the ones that you do get good money from, add them to your enemies list so you can keep hitting them).
As you start gaining is levels and if you have donated you can Rob people's houses. To do this, find someone who is fairly close in level to you with something more than a Wooden Box for a house. Click on their name like you would to attack them and there is a "Rob their House" button. You have to be at least level 6 to be able to do this because you need 10 Criminal Intent points (it says power but it is an error) Every house that I robbed netted me over $500,000 and 1 level per.
Some other hints: To attack people go to the Metro Alley and click the "Whos Who in Metro Wars" link. You can sort this list by Money/Level/User Name/User ID. You gain Brain Power by completing a day at your job. The higher position you have the more brain power you get. Also you can get Brainpower by buying IQ points in the "Gold Bar Assayer" in the Metro Alley.
Get the best house you can afford. Helps do more advanced crimes with success and adds more stats each time you train them. WAY more important than guns/armor so that’s where the $$ needs to go.
Sell your gold bars, at the housing/level you guys are at $$ is more important than a couple hundred stats or so for 12 bars worth. Just think is 60 million more important or is one round of stats.
Can't attack rob or steal gold bars from other people, just money. Robbing houses is a great way to level and get extra money.
It's evolved into common courtesy that it's ok to attack people offline for experience, but sitting in the hospital online sucks. Check out the metro alley>who's who then sort by money and descending and attack the people in your level range with some cash. It will tell you if the people are online or not. Online people with lots of cash are usually buying stuff or are powerful enough to not care if anyone attacks them. People that are in federal jail and the hospital can't get attacked. Also if you life is less that 50% you can't get attacked
If you look at the metro market and see the retarded high prices on common items, it is more than likely people storing their less useful items. If you have items in your inventory they get picked at random which is used when you are attacked so once they are on the market they are out of you inventory. You keep your items and still get to use only your best stuff.
Open a bank account. Just open it. Interest is cool.
Every now and then the odds for the gambling games gets turned in our favor. A mass email gets sent out and there are millions to be made then. Regularly it is in favor of the house.
If you have cash burning a whole on you pocket and want guns/armor from the level 20 or level 50 towns have better stuff . You can see whats available on higher levels under Metro alley> fan sites> metro center and if you ask around abit you can usually get someone to pick it for you.
be sure to check out the rule's page .
Hope to see a few more poeple on the game their is loads now at first it takes a few minutes to get the hang off but once your away you wont stop
