Things used to be different some time ago, but today nothing can destroy mines...
If your an engineer you can remove at mines, i havent tried it on anything else.
Yes Engineer Can remove mines and claymores (make sure to get behind claymores).
It's a well known fact however that anyone can destroy mines, not just engineers. All it takes is a vehicle, good aim, and a death wish. Claymores can be done without the vehicle.

Btw, just a little warning:
Be careful when you are driving over friendly mines: they will explode when your vehicle stands on them and you jump out....
