The L85A1 I like for long distance because of the sights. However the G3 is way more powerful and much better in full auto. A little - points for the small clip, but I'd say the G3

The L85's accuracy on auto is worse than the jackhammer from 50 feet away it seems like sometimes.. Argh!

But on single shot, it very accurate. I still like the G3 way better though.

If it weren't for the small clip, G3 would be my only weapon. It is absolutely awesome.
You need to have a support guy along for the ride though.

A new person can do good with a L85 and terrible with a G3. Once the G3 is "mastered" it is easily better. Bit silly that no other gun besides a sniper gets as much zoom when ADS. What the f**k DICE?

This is a joke, right? L85 is the worst gun (besides the SMGs) in the whole game. It is also the worst unlock because it has no redeeming qualities.

Please include the F2000, M16, AK101, and AK47 in your poll, to make it fair.

Nah, to me, the G3 is the best Assault gun for headshot sharpshooting. The M16 is the most accurate, but requires two shots. I have no problem taking out mid-range snipers with the G3. The Assault AK's suck at sniping though.

For me, Click, click, click is all it takes to take out a fast moving mid-range target with the G3. For the L85, it usually takes 5-6 shots, due to it's inaccuracy. And as such, bullet count isn't so much an issue. 30 bullets would be best though for CQC.

I have always liked the L85. For a while there I was a pretty good 'sniping' medic with it. I also like the G3, but the lack of ammo gave my vote to the L85.

I also have gotten called a hacker because of headshots with the L85.

G3 is easily the best gun in the game, takes finesse and pratice but once you get used to it you have a great weapon

it is also supremely versitile, can snipe, it's quick and accurate when 2 or 3 round bursts are fired and it's power is awesome, i am astonished that so many people voted for that other gun, i would think these results would come from a poll like "G3 Vs. Every Other Gun"

only drawback is small clips and if i could swing it at the enemy when i ran out of ammo i would still pick it over other guns

l85 is good for close and long ranges. at close range use automatic fire and at long range put it on single shot. you shouldnt have a problem gettn kills
