I'm not really a big Top Gear fan, but I happened to have it on and I really enjoyed the Senna feature. Suppose I'm biased though because he is still an idol of mine.

Cruise actually seemed an Ok guy, not as bonkers as I thought he might be, and that Veyron
Damn you guys already watched it?

I also liked the Senna bit, and that MP4/4 or 44 w/e sounded awesome.
Admittedly I don't know much about Ayrton Senna but that short film was very good.

Senna tribute was excellent, thankfully some of you appreciated it.
The guy must've had titanium balls for some of the stuff he did.CammRobb wrote:

lol at the end of ep 4
Best. Episode. Ever.
It seemed like the return of the old, better, Top Gear; with Hammond actually beating the opponents in the car (first ever??), and May in the new Bugatti (267MPH?!?!!), with a new lap-record finally knocking the Gumpert off the top. Cruise and Diaz, who I thought would be boring as fuck like most top-end celebs they usually get, I was very impressed by: especially their lap times I swear Diaz looked so much faster though...
To top it off with a dedication to Senna, Hamilton driving his old McLaren around Silverstone in what was genuine emotion and feeling, was absolutely perfect.
None of the "over-the-top" engineered laughs or cock-ups that ruined the last series. Just back to basics, proper, Top Gear with the best feature's all "crammed" into one episode.
I don't think they will ever make an episode as good as that. Ever.
Certainly made up for the race-fixing in Hockenheim earlier today.

Haven't seen it all yet but I managed to have some time to watch the Senna tribute before the MotoGP started. I was touched by how everyone rated him as one of the best of all time. Was great to see some of his best moments too (that opening lap at Donington '93 and him gunning it around Monaco were two great clips) and it was great to see Lewis Hamilton getting in the car and giving it a blast around Silverstone. Probably the best feature I have seen on Top Gear, maybe I'm a little biased because I'm a big fan of Formula One and it's history but the video was fantastic and hopefully those that aren't keen on Formula One appreciate who the man was!

They've used this song twice (that I can count) in the series now. Once in S14 Ep2 when the Stig was driving the Eagle Hammerhead iThrust, and once when introducing the VW.
Strange.

Eh, good music is something Top Gear's known for.KuSTaV wrote:

Agreed. Their cinematography is also top notch.
Just finished watching ep5.
I must say, that was...interesting, to say the least.
