i ordered one, I dont give it much chance that apple will fix it b4 iphone 4S or wateva they call it. i will use a case anyway

as of fiscal q3 the iphone has 14-17% afaik. as far as investors are concerned the iphone is the phone to invest in and apple are the company to back - they're more profitable and have higher turnovers. daily sales figures are pretty close for the iphone/htc/blackberry/android competing devices, i think. last time i read it was something around 90k iphones/day and 120k blackberries/day. again, though, apple are still the biggest profiting and most successful company in the smartphone market - which was what i was referring to not hardcore business analysis... just the general opportunism of marketing on another leading brand's flaws.

apple have a cycle on all their products and an average-lifespan for each (historically) lets you kinda guess... normally it's always right. each time they hold a big news-conference people start speculating on which device it'll be relevant to, and the tech-pundits are normally always right. here's a website i used when buying my iphone 3gs and it was pretty much spot-on.

Obviously they're the most profitable, Blackberry has much higher operating costs due to all the servers and services they have to continually provide (ie BES servers). Plus they sell higher and lower end phones.
iOS4 is the biggest pile of steaming shit I've ever installed on anything. Even worse, gay Apple decided to disallow downgrading to OS3...
