Wow, I'm seriously impressed. The Phased object tool intrigues and excites me the most, as it was very frustrating to do anything properly on Halo 3's Forge Mode without seriously concentrating and then ultimately failing by knocking everything down again.

A map editor I won't use. big whoop really. I would rather see enhancements to the game. The real game.

Well there is a ton more stuff that's been announced for halo reach. This was just revealed yesterday and seems like a great enhancement to, what I thought, was a greatly amusing portion of the last halo game (forge)Macbeth wrote:

I'm not one of those anti-Halo, video game elitist. So you don't really have to try to defend your video game habits to me. When the game comes out, I'm going to pick up a 360 so I can play it. The concept and some other things they have shown does interest me. Just thought a map editor was meh.

As far as console map editors go, the Time Splitters 2 one was decent. But I may have a slightly rose tinted view of the past so...

Certainly looks like a half decent editor for console. Shame it doesn't have a terrain editor too.
