BF2S Forums Do people with higher ranks than you take longer to kill?

Yah exactly. Officer or no officer, they die just as quick. I don't think rank really represents skill, but only time spent playing the game. That said, players with more skill do rank up faster, so ofcourse Mr Colonel might be really good. Or he just medic whored a whole lot. Just shoot him and find out.
As for me, I earned almost all of my points groundpounding. So if you see me, you'd better think "Oh shit a First Sergeant" and duck your ass for cover. Or else you'll get to stare at the sky for 15 seconds cursing the G36C.

Really funny thing happened when someone asked if I could pilot a chopper and I said "not really"
Surprised the hell out of him because somehow people assume you are good at every aspect of the game when you're high rank. I just spend all my time shooting people with carbines, and I'm really good at that. Doesn't automatically mean I'm a good pilot as well.

Just cause some is high in rank doesn't mean they are a good player. Shit I've played with alot of high ranking players that suck. Most of the high ranking players have no dam life outside of BF2. If every one played BF2 like it was a 40 hr a week job. Every one be Colonels after 6 months of playing. Maybe even generals with overtime. We have guys with over 2500 hrs. played. Breaking 2500 hrs. down comes to 6.8hrs a day for 365 days. Wow that equals no dam life to me. It's just plain out sad to waste your life playing a video game for 8 hours a day and not getting paid to pay it.

agreed m8 not everyone can spunk 8 hours a day on a game iam lucky if i can play 8 hours a week if wife doesnt nag me lol .These kids must be fucking obese fuckers and jack-off over there scores like it mean something.

Lol same here. I got 'time spent on anythin = skill' as a reason which is of course utter bullshit.
I'm not much better of a player than I was when I was a staff sergeant.
