Some of the dumbies calling us are almost like Ed here.
Why didn't the person resolving the ticket close them? What's the point in employing someone to simply close resolved tickets?Ultrafunkula wrote:

Due to company idiotic bureaucracy. Some peckerhead HR-whore thinks it's very personal and good looking to the client that a person closes the ticket instead of an automated message goes to the user. And company policy says that special teams aren't allowed to be in direct contact to the user (probably since they are no good when communicating with humans outside their own natural habitat) so the servicedesk has the pleasure of doing shit like this. Those automated messages are probably going to come back in use since we finally got a team leader who understands that it just takes too much of the daily work time to do monkey stuff like this.AussieReaper wrote:

2 hours, 40 minutes ago?
For months I have waited, slowly gathering supplies. Watching as those more fortunate than me found what I wanted several times over without even trying. It's ok, I thought, I'd get mine too. Just be patient.
Today the day finally came.
It was a Baseball Bill's Sports Shine.

TF2 hat?
Nobody knows where you went for a week or so.
Some think you died.
One person was concerned and wanted to see if you were ok.
He sent a friendly private message, asking where you were.
I would think it's common courtesy to respond to that message and reassure the concerned member in question that you're ok and well.
Thanks.
