I apologize if this has been discussed before, but nothing came up on the search so here it is.
I'm sure many of you have seen this before:
And you've wonder wtf is going on with them...
Well, they have no kit. This happens when you're revived but due to something your kit is too far away and you pick up nothing. When you're revived, your body automatically picks up the kit bag you're closest to. You may have noticed that you pick up something other than you had, because either a) someone else died right there, or b) someone else picked up your kit, leaving theirs behind for you. However, say you're killed on a roof and gravity pulls your body to the ground, but your kit stays on the roof. A medic runs by, revives you, and...well..
This is what happens.
You have no weapons, scrolling up and down does nothing whatsoever, your mouse buttons do nothing either. Your stamina is still there, although I'm not sure if it's a high level or low level, as that is normally decided by the kit. After pressing tab, you can see that the kit square is now a gray block. No kit.
I was going to try and see what would happen if I tried a mounted M249, or go on a ladder and look at 3rd person, but before I could get to one I was killed. Luckily, I was revived but to my dismay I had a sniper kit on. Then I heard my savior the medic shout clear again, this time to the sniper whose kit I collected. Now he was plagued by the no kit bug. And he looked like this.
He proceeded to stare at me, run around in circles, and stare again, just like what I did. You can see he looks much like an assault guy, as he doesn't have any other kit uniform. However, this time he was able to grab the mounted machine gun and was able to fire it, but then i looked closer...
He was indeed holding the gun like a telescope with a trigger. I can imagine that he didn't feel so well after putting an M249 buttstock into his eye.
