I picked up my slim last nite .......
super quiet .... couldn't hear anything ( but I was watching netflix sooooo I won't know how the disk drive sounds till 2nite )
looks nice ..... for the ones talking about fingerprints ... they must have some greasy fingers bc I didn't leave any on mine after I had it set up
the part I liked the best ............ I didn't have to configure my logitech remote for the new slim

I can only get it to do it through the ethernet cable.
Still debating getting the slim towards the end of the summer.. but my RRoD'd Elite comes back wednesday or so.
If you are going to trade it in I think it is worth it. I've been told something interesting is going to happen on the 24th of July.
