Australia and Canada for starters.

Currently only 60k people could be granted a H1B visa per year. The time it takes to get a Green Card in the US is the same amount of time it takes to get citizenship in Canada or Australia.

Yeah, good examples.  Because Australia and Canada need the population growth, akin to the US's Ellis Island period.  Thing is that, more immigrants would prefer to go to the US than either of those two countries.  I know quite a few relatives who easily immigrated to Canada.  Many are Canadian citizens.  And yet, even as Canadian citizens, they want to immigrate to the States.

I don't think the Hondurans should be held accountable because monkey lovin' at a party is probably part of their heritage and I was taught in the clinton era to respect people's diversity and GWB taught me that illegal immigrants are to be embraced because without them people would have crappy looking lawns and no clean dishes at restaurants. 

Can't we just tell them not to do that here, don't over fertilize the lawns during the dry season, and let the girl know it was just a misunderstanding so don't take it personal?  I mean, every state doesn't have to be all fucked up like Arizona!

What are you talking about?  Even with every country having equal quotas, Mexico is still the top legal immigrant group.

Got mines?  hah, try 16-20 years before any of my relatives that want to come here have a chance of coming here legally (marriage and the like aside).

A guy I work with has just been hired as a developer and his job is in Cupertino. Because of visa bullshit he is going to be spending 1 week in every 4 in the UK and the rest in the US. It's just making things awkward for him settling into his job over there.

Now if more black people commit crimes then white people, it's normal that people would talk about black people more when it came to crime. Nothing wrong with conversation.  Hell, do something about it to possibly change the law.  Get some lawyers, special interest groups, politicians, etc on your side and have them change the law.  But just because you don't agree with the law, in this case, quotas, doesn't give you the right to disobey it without consequences.

Hell, I break the law everyday.  Speeding.  If I get caught, I pay the ticket, traffic school, then go on with my life.  Same with illegals.  Some get caught, get deported, then hire coyotes to get them back here.

And in much the same way, when I start my future business I will hire the best workers I can regardless of country of origin. I happen to have a low opinion of Americans and their work ethic and education levels.
