Dan Gilbert ran business like most companies do. Hand out Carte Blanche to a top prospect, a free pass x-amount of years, and now he wants some accountability!?!? Suck it Dan, run a business more professionally.Poseidon wrote:

CLEVELAND -- Angered and betrayed by LeBron James' decision to leave for Miami, Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert accused the NBA's MVP of quitting during the playoffs.
Gilbert, who posted a letter to Cavs fans on the team's website shortly after James announced his plans to sign with the Heat, told The Associated Press late Thursday night that it's "accountability time" for James.
"He has gotten a free pass," Gilbert said in a phone interview with The AP. "People have covered up for [James] for way too long. Tonight we saw who he really is."
lol, cavs hate him now ahhah.

for someone who's never won the ring, he's awfully full of himself. it was a slap in the face to cleveland to leave the way he did. he could have just said through a normal press conference he was leaving, like every other player out there, but instead he hosts this media circus and turns it into 'the lebron show.' personally, i don't give a shit about him leaving, because he did give up in the playoffs. i don't want a player like that on the team.
in all fairness though, gilbert could have done more to keep him here. it's ultimately his fault for catering so much to lebron, and not worrying about the big picture. but it really was pretty classless for lebron to leave the city the way he did.

definitely classless. I think he turned a few fans away, but he probably gained a hell of a lot more in Miami. Totally narcissistic of him, for sure. But let's be honest, the guy is 25 years old. I wish that being a narcissist was my biggest problem when I was 25
Beasley's gone!
lol watch the video or skip over to like 3:16 some guy is like is this worst than 9:11 lol wtf
Miami Heat welcomes THE BIG THREE
also I like what Grant Hill said once:
"I played in the Olympics won gold medals, I've won national championships, been to all-star games, I've done commercials,I've had my own shoe, I've done a lot of things basketball wise, that when I was your age dreamed of doing, and as great and as wonderful those things are I think having a college degree and being able to use my mind of the basketball court is more fulfilling than anything I did on the court"
