i figured it out!!
There are 5 petals around the rose, when you toss the 5 dices you will get 5 results ... your mission is to find the correct answer to those values.
So you are to "guess" the correct answer based on the roll of the dices, if you know the answer you don't have to guess as you see it quite clearly and quite fast.
Clue1: If the dices roll 2,2,3,5,4 the correct answer is 6.
It's all in the name of the game .... Petals Around The Rose.

Wait behind the line ..............................................................
No language thing, it's easier to solve with open mind. Odds aren't against you.Eifa wrote:
ok i don't get it. what am i supposed to guess really?
might be the language thing but i don't have a clue about what i'm even trying to figure out there.
Really hard eh?Ioan92 wrote:

PM sent. First one was really easy.

Don't think too hard about it.
The harder you think the more abstract and totally irrelevant you think it might be.
It's simple.
Is this like a system of equations?
edit: Nvm, figured it out on my own. This is easssy.

Spoiler (highlight to read):
Oh Oh! RPG!! RPG!!
I got it!
2(2+3)=10
7(7+2)=63
6(6+5)=66
8(8+4)=96
What is 9+7=?
9(9+7)=144
This is really, really, retarded. There's no guessing in mathematics, and what the OP shows "as is" is a fucking aberration. 2+3=/=10

You're supposed to keep it to yourself, don't spoil it for the others.

wtf is up with the petals one
I don't care if the name is related, I know nothing about roses or petals

Ignore the petals and roses bussiness, it's more distracting than helpful
hmm I'm getting it right like 90% of the time, but I make mistakes on the big answers
omg I have the longest most elaborate way to work this out, and I'm getting it right all the time now.
But I know it's not what everyone else has because this isn't simple in the slightest :s

lol, you'll hit yourself for seeing how simple it really is.Aries_37 wrote:

Damn that petals thing it had me in a wtf state of mind for a good 30 mins.
But I got there, searching for patterns is hardddd....dont really know how the name helps tho.
[edit] waaaaiiiiiiit, I get the name
stare at the dice xD

To solve the one in the op I used the formula
Spoiler (highlight to read):
(a*b) + (a^2) = c

That works too. Factor out an a and you get a(b+a), which is what everyone else used.
