Played until the 1.5 patch. It made the game way to slow and static.

I just want 25 hours to get to general 3 star, i've been stuck on this amount of hours for a year and a bit. Too lazy.

Still play regularly. Almost at 150k (yeah, not a huge score by any means but there was about a 2 - 2.5 year lull a while back).

Well, I stopped playing BC2 a while back, I just can't get into it. Now that I'm back in BF2 and using my favorite guns again (DAO, M11, MK3, AT, L96) I can't fathom why I left it in the first place.
Thinking of playing again, but I already got the difficult 'achievements' and am ranked up to captain. The biggest thing tempting me to reinstall are the BF2S car chases.
If they reset the splash damage on the Blackhawk to even a shadow of what it was in earlier versions of the game, I would definitely play again.

It's actually pretty good in 1.5, with good BH squad it's easy to dominate a map (well, Mashtuur or Songhua and have some fun in Tampa). Sure it's not as good as it used to be in the first place, but now it is possible (and quite easy) to take down cars, ground pounders and APC's. Unlike in 1.4 for example.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

It's just hard to find good crew, most people still fly it into 600 and want people to parachute from it. That's boring.
haven't played a round since i38 finals and will never play another round again.
Just played after ~ so many months away from it, and months of playing BC2, feels so weird lol. Hitboxes are so shitty.
Before I do anything today (already wanked), going to re-install BF2 and all of it' other crap.
I still play it everyday. Since my computer hasn't got the best specs I'm limited to playing older games. Will really have to try and save up for a better computer for when BF3 comes out, I really want to play that.
