battlezone?
It's much more complex then that game.
You can use this one screen to call in air strikes and artillery, or close air support such as helicopters and planes while also guiding sometimes up to 40 different tanks through a battle with a bunch of options against up to a 100 hundred enemy tanks.
While you can guide a bunch of military units you are also able to control 3 or the 4 positions inside of a 4 tank M1 Abrams squad. So you can quickly switch between driver, commander, and gunner and perform each role manually or set it.
There were several campaigns set in various real countries in fictional wars and how how many men you lost and enemies you killed are factored into the campaign progress and can result in you winning or losing the overall war. You can also fight a bunch of famous armored battles throughout history. Also each battle is never the same as the last since the game randomizes it each time.
This review, explains it in more detail. It's a great game but I played it to death and need something updated with news tanks, betters graphics, more options etc. The only game close to it is Steel Beast Personal Pro which isn't a game but a civilian version of the military Steel Beast Pro tank simulator. Since it's a civilian version of a military simulator it doesn't have some of the features as M1TP2 and isn't intended to be ''fun''.
So yeah.
