A mild OCD? I said that my pen makes my work look terrible because every line I've had to carve a hole and fill it with ink. I'd understand you if I said that every slight imperfection I made I restarted, but it isn't - it just makes everything look ugly.
Sometimes I'll go pages and pages, and I'll come to one page that just has this problem of not letting me write on it, no matter how hard I press, yet the very page next to it will have no problem with accepting writing.

Fisher space pens. Astronauts use them. They work under water, the freezing vacuum of Space, write through grease, and they write forever.

Bic pen & Wal Mart Paper works for me
Lol, old topic but I might as well post. Uniball Jetstream 0.7mm is the finest writing instrument I've used. Ink flows very smoothly, lines are always solid and never patchy. Not even that expensive.

Pentel P200 is the finest writing instrument in the world.
The wooden Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencil would claim that title if it somehow never got dull, and had a replaceable eraser.

Black Ticonderogas are better,

I prefer a bic to pilots, pilot's line quality sux.
and nothing beats the inox cartridges, the ones with carbide balls and titanium points (or is it the other way around)

I write with a Lamy fountain pen and a Lamy mechanical pencil. I use 2B lead as I found it is softer and darker (breaks easier too). I have a few types of stationary that is heavier than normal paper. Writing a powerfully worded letter is an art and most times acheives my desired outcome.
