So I recently traded my laptop, a Gateway p7805u, for a desktop. I then traded a Blackberry 9550 and a Xbox 360 Elite for two ASUS 5870's, the ones with the mini-display ports. Would using the Eyefinity be worthy it? I have one 24" monitor and could easily get two more.
Make sure if your monitors dont have a display port on them that you buy an ACTIVE Displayport to Dvi adapter. I bought just a regular passive one wehn i first setup my eyefinity setup and had to wait a whole week until i could use it.
My experience with eyefinity has been awesome, peripheral vision in BC2 is really nice since it lets me see hidden snipers to my side or some enemy. I also play racing games and its awesome being ableto see the entire dashboard and out both side windows and having that wide field of view. Eyefinity is not really necessary though, it just makes gaming a better experience and funner.
