loled.
If you're looking to benchmark your new build, Crysis and GTA4 are both good choices.
Depending on your preferred genres you may enjoy Burnout Paradise, The Mass Effect games, Assassin's Creed 2, CoD:MW2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and others.
New is a somewhat vague request, and good even moreso, especially when referring to video games.
He asked what games are worth playing, not what games he needed to benchmark his PC. Reading's a fun skill I like to use in life.
Dead Space is a game that flew under a lot of people's radar. Go for that.
Dragon Age: Origins was well liked as well.

Hard to suggest a game if we don't know what you're looking for.blademaster wrote:

Go get Assassins Creed II, it´s really fun. Or either of the Mass Effect games.
There are no new awesome games out that are worth purchasing.
Crysis to test your PC and kill North Koreans
Just Cause 2 - Just Cause
Fallout 3
World in Conflict to test your PC and nuke stuff
Note none of these are 'new games'

ARMA 2 isn't a bad benchmark.

CoH is a good one
FC2 for a benchmark same with Crysis
STALKER CoP or CS are good too actually good ones too. A lot of minor details that those games supply can put good stress on your system (grass density/quality, sunrays etc...)
