I came home from work last night and I could not get BF2 to work for me. I am getting this error that reads.    Problem with conidtion of BF2.exe. problemwith operating system version and hardware in use and IP. Now I am running TS while I play so I can chat with my clan. Could this cause me to get banned from EA servers? If so How can I fix this. I tried to use one of our clan members sign ins and got on just fine. But it will not work with my name and password. Any help will be greatful. Thanks. I sure and the heck dont want to do this all over again. Cause I wont and I will just let my son play.

fill out a support ticket with punkbuster. thats all u can do. if u were globally banned from all bf2 servers and they dont fix the issue for u, u will have to get a new serial number.

theres nothing anyone else can do for u. only punkbuster can resolve this issue for u.

Edit: if u did not get a message saying that u are banned then maybe have one of ur friends try to logu in with thier computer to see if it works. if it does then just reinstall and check ur system for viruses.

Thanks for yout help. I sure wish this did not happen. I am a far cry from a stat padder. Hell I suck at the game to much to do that. Do you think running Team speak could have caused this to happen.

Thanks again I will give that a try.  Leave it up to kids to get a virus. Leave the house for a few hours and come home to crap on my comp.

Teamspeak certainly shouldn't affect BF2.  I've been using TS while playing almost as long as I've had the game, and had no problems with it.  The same can be said of the whole of my clan (and presumably yours as you said you were talking to them on it ).

From what I've read in other posts it sounds like a cockup with punkbuster which has caused you to get a global ban.  As the others said, you need to contact punkbuster and ask them to sort it.

Good luck

I believe there was an issue with multiple Windows user acounts. You have to play under the account that the game was installed on. In other words, you can't install BF2 under Timmy's Windows logon account and then logout and login into Bobby's and expect to be able to play BF2.

That's what is sounds like to me.  Make sure you are playing on the correct user account.  And for good measure make sure that account has administrative rights.  GL!  Let us know how it turns out.

Well I got it all figured out. Come to find out that one of my patches was bad. I took a few minutes and looked in the BF2 folder to find that 1.02 had found some way to duplicate it self. over and over and over again. MY son is not laying any claim to this but we will talk more. I ended up uninstalling everything and redoing it all.  Seems to work fine. Thank you all for your help. Hope to see you all on the vattle field.
