Well, if we assume that globalization results in a universal rising of the standard of living, then that means Latinos will slowly start to breed less as they make more money.  Generally speaking, the higher your standard of living, the smaller your family is (on average).

One way to make a lot of money in the short run is for them to sell off their collegiate system to private interests.  They could also sell off their parks.

California could probably save itself a lot of trouble and begin teaching Spanish more extensively in school -- preferably starting around 3rd grade.

Infrastructure issues sort themselves out over time -- they just require trimming down of amenities.  A slimmer, more Darwinian system would adapt best to unlimited immigration.

We're already there.  Bilingual education.  English proficient students having to wait it out while the teacher explains the same thing in Spanish.

Good point...  basically, if you're white and speak English as a first language, you're better off moving northward than staying in California.

From the article the premise is that these illegal aliens are "not criminals".  But when they violate federal laws they are criminals.  Why the kid gloves?
