They better not delay the November 2nd release date OR I will fucking rage.

Quote of the year so far "Fifa 11 on the other hand... shiny things for mongos "-mtb0minime
I'd love to see it with full-screen AA, DX 11, high res textures and everything else that makes consoles bad.Sydney wrote:

It was an over glorified demo. What did you expect?Miggle wrote:

Looks sweet, pity the PS3 controller sucks noodles with racing games.
Serious Flex
Hope its worth the wait.
hot damn indeed
Racing games never really appeased me, only ones I ever got into was mariokart because you can at least shoot the bastard ahead of ya.
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
This is probably the only game that can get me to buy a console
Stiggy and top gear test track = DO WANT !

Racing games appeal to me on a console, good party 2p trash talk games. I hope the crash physics are present and correct.
Don't count on it...jsnipy wrote:

GT5 has allways been for driving without crashing...

I think it has aesthetic damage like Forza, nothing more. Don't think most manufacturers would allow it for either franchise.
Hence why Burnout uses fake cars.

sux, makes it so unrealistic.Poseidon wrote:

I find it funny why manurfacturers don't go along with it.. especially since games like DiRT lets you tear off nearly everything if you wreck...jsnipy wrote:

This is the make or break part. Wonder if there will be better weather effects this time around. Driving an Audi through the snow would be epic!Poseidon wrote:

"Raise the flag high! Let the degenerates know who comes to claim their lives this day!"
Now to pre-order the collectors edition. Man I hope they don't move the release right again, GT5 is the reason I bought my PS3 3 years ago!!
GO-KARTS?“Gran Turismo 5 will offer gamers an experience more rich, more in-depth and more exciting than they might expect – even from a series as closely identified with innovation and invention as Gran Turismo.” That’s what Sony Computer Entertainment’s President of Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida had to say recently when mentioning some new details about Gran Turismo 5.
So what are some of the new experiences players can get their hands on come November 2nd? How about a sweet track editor, or weather effects? What about doing the unexpected in a racing simulator…racing go-karts?! Well that’s what Yoshida promised will be in the game, as well as a stunt arena. Sounds like Gran Turismo 5 is taking a radical turn, eh? (insert roll on snare drum)
Lastly, Mr. Yoshida stated this:
“Not only will Gran Turismo 5 deliver an even more comprehensive set of cars and courses than gamers saw with previous iterations, it will also feature new game-enhacing graphical effects such as damage, night racing and weather.”
It really seems like Polyphony Digital is packing as much as they can into Gran Turismo 5, but will all these features work in favor of the title? Do you think some of these features (go-karting) should even be in the series? Let your voice be heard below!
That's fucking awesome.
This game is going to have so much stuff. Rallying, NASCAR, Indy, go-karts, a track editor, a stunt arena... and just so much more.
I wish I had the urge to splurge on a racing wheel for the PS3.
