Beyond that, there are just bad movies. Movies with the perfect storm of horribleness. But even these can have a spark of worthwhileness to them. Movies that have no budget, take themselves seriously but aren't even funny and aren't memorable in any way, shape or form are the bad bad movies.

Watched the rest yesterday. What a weird movie. Hard to rate. Apparently, it´s far easier to understand if one has read the book, which I havn´t.
Anyways, the visuals are really damn amazing, and they are enough to create a strange mood. Adding atmospheric music and sounds, so few but well chosen, really fuck with your mind. It triggered some really weird feelings, making me uncomfortable like only Hitchcock´s Psycho did.
The story is well confusing and every time you think you got a grasp of whats going on, something changes and your puzzled again. And of course the ending is totally open.
After some reading, it is apparently intended to be that way by the director, giving room to your own interpretations.
The movie is over two and a half hours long, and you really notice it. I already mentioned the slow beginning. There are quite some scenes scattered throughout the movie, where extensive dialogue or long lasting scene shots drag on.
The dialogues were generally good, but highly philosophical. Made it hard for me, cause it´s not my preferred field, but someone with a better grasp of the concept surely gets more out of it than me.
tl;dr
I´d recommend a watch if you care for classic sci-fi that is not star-trek-space-thing and if you can bring the patience.
What exactly are the A and B qualifications for movies? Or are we just talking about a general expression to rate "A" good movies and "B" crap movies?
