I think this is pretty cool, but also kind of nuts... That kind of power in integrated would be epic, but that's going to draw a lot of power, I would think, compared to a regular board.

No, no and no.

You are stuck with GPU you can't swap out. You can have upto 9 PCI-E slots for gfx card(s) you can change for better if you wish.

ASUS does these concept mobos once in a while, they rarely go for retail.

Plus that board has Lucid chip which is dodgy at best. Do not want. The board is inviting some major driver level issues. Or just component failures.

For this reason alone, I agree.

How would it even be cooled efficiently??

With the massive heatsinks they've been shoving on motherboards as of late, I'm sure they could just throw another one on...

In all seriousness, yes, that seems like it would be a problem. It might either have to take up additional space where other add-in slots would go, or severely limit the size of the CPU cooler.

Would make for a good small form-factor PC but that's about it.

That mobo will be quite far from m-ATX.

If it was mATX and cooled sufficiently I could see the point, but if it's aimed at a gaming PC then the people building gaming PCs are gonna know what to buy, and they'll know that a physical PCI-e slot card would be better than this solution.

Quite cool though.

E: But good luck cooling it, my GPU hits 70 degree load, and that's with the egg fan and an 80mm on the back of the card.

my bro has an x58 with 5770 and I think he needs another case-fan for it.  It gets pretty hot so I would think they would need to focus some serious cooling there.

No, I would get a p55 Mini-Itx board with 5770 integrated for an amazing compact HTPC, but thats about it.

Not even for a casual PC would I want to put all that heat on one board.

Is it even necessary to do this? It sounds a little gimmicky to me.
