Yes, I know the Quake pack is a direct port of the data, but were they too fucking lazy to somehow give us the MUSIC too?! Well, they obviously were, but that didn't stop them from charging for it. So yeah, I gotta dig out my Quake discs to hear the music, but that doesn't help me with the music for expansion packs I did not originally BUY on CD. Stick to classics that had nothing that needed a CD.
The publishers most likely only had rights for the classic NIN Quake soundtrack released in retail disc form, but not for a digital online one.
They would have to pay a second time, which is too expensive in most cases.
Just look at DVD releases of TV series.
On many (if not most) they create a completely new, and abysmally worse soundtrack or even remove the music at all, because they can't and won't afford the license fees again.

Football is called like that because it is played on foot, as opposed to games like polo, which are played on horse.
That all derived from the middle ages, where the aristocracy played their games on horse, while the plebs played on foot.
The correct terms are American Football and Association Football, BTW, "soccer" being derived from association.
You could also say that American Football is rugby for wimps with all that protection gear.

I was seriously hyped for both games. The stuff Ubisoft advertisied a year before release was sounded . e.g AI that chagned according to the time of day e.g guards eating lunch at midday or sleeping in their huts at night. But when the game came out, it was meh. The enemy respawns killed it. OFP for the most part was pretty good. But the lack of a console mission editor killed any sort of replay value on the consoles.
far cry 2 was my biggest meh in recent memory

They shouldn't do it. It's a ripoff to the customers. And NIN didn't write all the music for the Quake series and its expansions, so so much for that theory.globefish23 wrote:

My TV DVD's are pretty much in complete form. My only complaint is the lack of an Animaniacs Vol 4.

Of course it's a rip-off, but sadly that's what's happening all around.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

If I learn of some cuts and removals of a digital (re-)release, I rather pirate the original disc or download copies of the original TV airings in the case of a series.
