BF2S Forums Israel stations nuclear subs off Iranian coast

Well, the tricky part is that if they are in Iranian waters, well...  that could spark a war.

Israel has nuclear cruise missiles?!?!?!
And how did they acquire these?
someone has been breaching the non-proliferation treaty.

And in all seriousness, how are we supposed to tell other countries that they shouldn't build up nuclear arms when nuclear arms are clearly a threat in the ME.

I say let them have their little armageddon and I'm choosing not to participate in it.

psssh, israel and their "WE DO NOT HAVE NUKES" position, lel. I don't see any point in denying it IF everybody knows you have them.

Yes, I'm being a little tongue and check on that. But, assuming that the US gave Israel the cruise missile technology, I'm surprised that there were no provisos on strapping a nuke onto them. Afterall, aren't we after North Korea when they try to ship missiles to the ME.

They could have designed/built these missiles themselves, or retrofitted warheads onto existing cruise missiles.

And its the duty of every state which signed the NPT to prevent others obtaining or holding nuclear weapons.

Wait a minute...when did Israel actually admit to having nukes?  I mean, everybody knows they've got them - but when did they actually admit it?  And have they denied this report?

Except under the NPT its the duty of the US to remove Israel's nukes also, not just prevent Iran getting them.
They aren't being even-handed.

I doubt Israel disclosed any info to the US in the first place... US didn't remove nukes from India and Pakistan and they're both non-NPT members. The NPT only states that signatories have to 1. not produce nukes, 2. hopefully remove them. I don't see any of the P5s pressuring India and Pakistan and they're most at risk for a full scale nuclear holocaust...
