Civil engineering and commerce. This (and last) semester have been pure commerce, so next semester I go back to pure engineering. 2.5 years done, and I'm not even halfway.. lulz.

at least my timetable will be better than my semester. i did the "lol idiot 1st year 1st semester thing" and gave myself a 6hr-straight block from 8am to 2pm with no breaks.

No more. 2nd year courses only = less lectures, less labs and no fucking 8am lectures.

First year i had monday and friday completly off, and started at 11am on tues, weds and thurs...then I switched into a real engineering course and got hit with 18 contact hours.

Eskimo, no. Im just tarded and lazy. In fact, I have 4 assessment pieces due this week:
- Maths assignment (4% of course, one thirdish done, no idea wtf to do for the others) - due thursday
- Algebra quiz (attempt 5/5, if I fail this I fail the course, lol) - on friday at 5pm
- Engineering materials lab assignment (10% of marks) - due friday 4pm
- MATLAB assignment which I have no idea wtf to do for too - due friday 5pm

Also minty I always thought you were just doing commerce...didnt know you were doing engineering.

Lol, engineering ftw. It's what I initially wanted to do.. I just put down the commerce as well cause I got the marks. And now I really like both, lol.

ah right.

Uh, its split into 3 different parts. Part 2 Ive got sussed because it was easy - optimising radius and height of a cylinder for smallest surface area.
Then part 1 talks about a ladder up against a house and how the base moves away from the house at a rate 2 metres per second and then you have to find the rate at which the area between the floor, ladder and side of house decrease and also etc etc. Just a shitcock really.
Part 3 wants me to find how much the circumference of a tree has increased if the diameter is 25cm and after one year circumference increases 5cm, using calculus. After using algebra to find it, I see it wants me to use calculus (small change rule, amirite?). I threw that bit of paper in the bin.

Basically a load of shite if you cant decipher my paragraph.

haha nah. for what subject? Ive got 4 different lecturers for each subject. One is some Brit who looks like my old economics teacher, and about the same height too at like 6"7' or something. Another is some small asian lady who when says 'count', sounds like 'cunt'. Another was some guy who sounded gay but was an alright guy, now we have some young dude who is pretty cool. Aaaand the last guy says 'shit' a lot and instead of break he says 'time for smoko', a pretty cool dude too.
