Ohhh catching your dog doing something he shouldn't and seeing the guilty look on his face is hilarious. Hell, even if you don't catch him red-handed, my dog will still give us a guilty look if he did something bad, and he could've gotten away with it otherwise

Unfortunately, no pics

My cat's a sneaky little thing...

If she's about to do something like e.g. mark the sofa or jump somewhere she musn't, she looks around to check if anyone is looking and if we are looking or tell her "no" in the last second before the jump she pretends to wash her paw all like "I was just washing my paw, nothing to see here".

Spice posing on her food bowl while begging to be fed for 1835th time that hour. She's a nice guineapig/furry bottomless pit
Srry for the bad footage, I have shaky hands.

My wife and I are going to foster this dog, and possibly adopt it, if it gets on well with our dog. He is a stray that was found wandering in the walking trails around Whistler over the winter. Hes pretty skinny right now, but I think he will fill out well with some care.

Neither of us in the pic btw, its a shot from the shelter, since this shot hes had surgery on his back right leg.

The only problems I can see is that both my dog and him are major Alpha dogs. They only met for 1/2 hour or so yesterday, and were kind of funny together. Thats why I want to foster for a couple of weeks first, to see how they work out. He was quite hyper, but that is to be expected from a Husky that was free in the wilderness, to being locked in a kennel, on bed rest from surgery.

Another thing is that he may need surgery on his other back leg in the future, and I want to know the full deal with that as well.

He is quite well behaved when he is not distracted though, and shows a lot of affection.

What kinda mix is it? The eyes look funny, cross bread or something? Also what's wrong with it's legs? Poor thing

They think it may be Alaskan Malamute/ Siberian Husky mix. As for his legs, its called luxating patella, some kind of knee problem. A local vet was nice enough to do the first knee for free, and said he may not need it on the other one. I'm going to see about fostering him tomorrow for a couple of weeks starting friday (I want to take a 4 day weekend for when I bring him home for the first time.). After that, If everything works out I'll put in an application for adoption.

It looks young enough, he might learn his place with your other dog better at his age. When they are grown up it's a whole different story(mine is a wanker thinking he's all "the shit up in this mutha"). I wish you the best of luck when you get him, best advice I can give you is this.

http://www.furminator.com/faqs.cfm

Buy one, come shedding time, you're gonna need it

And also, maybe it's just my own but you have to change foods every now and then(my dog gets bored of the same food if I keep giving him it); and he won't eat nuts for some reason. When he was young he'd eat anything, now he's big and stubburn. Also, live with the fact you might never be able to take him off the leash. He'll just approach other dogs which will probably lead to confrontation. But you do have a great trained dog anyway so I think you'll fare great (Huskies are great, and they loved been stroked under there neck and between the fore legs.

Yeah I have a shedding tool like that, have to brush my dog at least once a week to keep it in check. My dog is half Alaskan Malamute, so she shares a lot of the same traits with Huskies. The training at the start will have to be quite intense to break him in, and I am hoping that my dog will be the dominate one, so that she can reign him in.

My dog can be a finicky eater as well, one thing I do once in awhile is mix an egg in with her dry food. Other times, things like, when I'm making pasta sauce, I'll mix just a little in with her food. If I take her for a long bike ride she eats as soon as we get home as well.

Thanks for the info.
