thanks for the ultimate GUIDE,,nice guide for fighter,,,,u ride only j-10??...or all jets??like me.....i like F-35B not j-10

suree....flying bombers is completly different.........

And your "two step J10 takeout plan" would not work vs a skilled pilot, if he's in the J10. Every pilot wich basic knowledge checks his rare every other second And it's not difficult to follow a F35 in stratorun eighter, I do it all the time
if he very skilled.....take opportunity when he weak.......usualy like rarm,,,shoot a chop/ussx.......
j-10 suck...
if u use f-35B....ur flare must ready.....one chance to run.....n make stall...

Nice guide mate! Looks like im gonna be facing some tough fighter opposition after ppl read this! I'm a bomber pilot and I prefer the F-15 to the other bombers because you have a good field of vision. I use boom and zoom tactics or as you put it: stratorun. Better to be high up there where bombers are supposed to be than flying at treetop level, trying to be a hero with a fighter tailing you. I go high, around say 720 metres.  I fly at supersonic speeds (Mach 1.8 or around 2200 km/h). I perch up high waiting for any unsuspecting ground targets, dive on them, release bombs, pull up, and then use the speed I gained in the dive to perch up high again. I usually have a fighter escort with me in the same squad who gives me cover when I rearm. DO NOT engage in a dogfight with another plane. It is the stupidest thing you could do in a bomber. Leave the dogfighting to the fighter: Do your job! Support the ground force! When I have a WSO ( Weapon Systems Operator or more commonly known as a gunner) with me I fly at around 500 metres at a little over Mach 1 (1600 km/h) and come into multiple targets at a shallow angle, let my WSO take a shot, release bombs and go vertical using half of my afterburners (I leave the rest for and emergency evasion) In this case, I only rearm when my guner tells me to: I don't take any chances. Also in the latter situation, I keep a lookout for any fighters that might want to engage me and let my wingman know. So, to sum up: Don't dogfight, bombing is your prime concern; don't bomb too close to your teammates, but only bomb an enemy if he poses a threat to your ground force; Fly as medic and it is useful if your gunner is an engineer because he can repair your plane inflight and most of all: Stay up high, pay attention, and don't get shot down buddy!

*EDIT: sorry steelie that line was badly worded ;-)

IMHO.. planes NEVER won a battle...

they cant cap flags...

So if you think you and your plane won the battle... HAH!!!

It's coz the other team was garbage...

Planes can give you a huge advantange if not win it for you some times. I am sure if Moab was on my team the chances of winning would go only up. Playing on the ground on wake can make you feel overwhlemed if their is a few good pilots in the air.

This is an excellent guide. Thank you for taking the time to write all this. Good job.

Qft. Never actually read anything useful on forums that I hadn't already figured out, experience ftw.

But your learning can be accelerated by a well written guide. If you can apply techniques passed down by the best you'll progress faster.

I typically stay out of jets since I have no joystick but this guide is the guide of all guides for fighter jet for sure.  I will be looking to get one very soon though.  The best advice in this guide is the battlefield awareness he speaks of.  I have this skill but sadly 99 percent of people playing BF2 don't have a clue.
