First of all, 20 world leaders in one place? Recipe for disaster, no matter how many SWAT teams will be there.

Secondly, I live near toronto, and downtown will be a fortress. Like, I know no enormous disasters have ever happened at the Summit before, but... it just gives you a bad feeling. "What if...".

Your thoughts on G20? Probably, it'll be a lot of talk, with minimal to decent changes.

You're acting like this is a one time deal that's never happened before. The G20 has met 3 times in the past two years and no one was killed Was held in Washington DC, London and... Pittsburgh(wtf?).

21st century and the world's elite can't use video conferencing? i know it's not diplomatic, but still- there's always lots of taxpayer (and climate too, if you will) costs for a whole load of nothing. summits and meetings, in a skeptical sense, are not a lot more than exercises of power - the big cats getting together to smoke some cigars and dick around on golf courses, more concerned with the finer scotch than nuclear disarmament.
