Anything that decreases reaction times, concentration and judgement is really doing noone any favours. DUI is really bad for all of these.
Hence why I think if you cause injury to anyone whilst driving drunk you should never be allowed to use a car again, and should get a nice prison sentence.

I cannot agree with this. There are already laws in place in most, if not all states revoking licenses permanently for repeated DUI offences, and while making that mistake even once is inexcusable, this society is entirely too reliant on motor vehicles to permanently revoke the right to operate one for a first offence.Hurricane2k9 wrote:

Well, I've been done once for DUI, but that was on my P's, I didn't hurt anyone and I only had 0.015 -- if I had been on my open licence I would've just been told to have a good night and drive safe. Still, never again. Lost my licence for 3 months, which is the minimum they could charge me with. This was in 2003.
