http://videogames.yahoo.com/events/plug … il/1398993how bout this for a change? stop making shitty games and rushing them to market full of bugs and glitches! the gaming industry is it's own worst enemy sometimes. how many carbon copy FPS games have been released in the past year?
Good point. Many games, like bf2, are released because the developers think the concept alone will make the game. In the short term, yes, but in the long term bugs and glitches get annoying.
Except BF2 was an overall worthy game and one many people played well over 500 hours before uninstalling.
exactly. i had no problem paying for the bf2 expansions, since the game was one of the best of its kind. but now we have to struggle through these weaker sequels (resident evil, GTA4) before a truly great game will emerge again. the publishing companies really need to stop pressuring the developers to turn out new titles so fast. imho, the COD series has shown how poor this strategy really is. they put out a new game every 6 months, when they should take their time, and make a solid game with more lasting value. then release new content and weapons to keep your fan base, instead of just one shite sequel after another.
