but on a serious note, i cannot IMAGINE shifting with my left hand! and i cant imagine having someone on the left side of me. I guess im just used to american driving.

Also i cant imagine driving on the left side of the road. . . why is it different? who thought it would be cool to have a completely reverse driving system?

Been looking at a bright red 147 2.0 TS for a while now, maybe 2006-07.

Until I get balls to actually risk owning an Alfa, I continue to cruise the streets with my Astra. Bleh, even though it's one of the better looking Astras I've seen, even if I say it myself (Black Metallic 5D Hatchback Cosmo w. brushed metal laquer paneling (or summut) and leather lined cup seats).

But a 147, fuck yeah. Also, and I know this sounds very teen, I love how the new Mitsu Lancer looks. I've just never owned a ricer, so maybe I shouldn't start now. Before the H-Astra, I've had a G-Astra, F-Astra, MkIV Escort and two soap-box BMW:s.

one of my neighbours at home has always owned alfas - for as long as i can remember. normally swaps them out every 2-3 years. he keeps a 147/hatchback model and a 5-door family car at all times. normally gets the brighter, bolder colours too- bright blues and reds. the red alfas are sexy. one of his tweaked 147 hatchbacks was what birthed my love for them, actually: completely blacked out, black rims, leather interior with red stitching. loved it.

A friend of mine has one and was going to sell it because he's scared shitless it coul pack up at any moment, but when it came to palming it off on a starry-eyed kid he didn't have the heart to do it.

I'm going back to live there in a few weeks, and you can't buy them there, I used to have one over there but sold because I moved back to the UK, but going back again lol...No car I love to drive more.

The one good thing is that if I ever decided to sell in the future, they sell for a profit over there. On my last one I made a 10,000 dollar profit on a 1 year old car with 15,000 miles on the clock lol.
