sure does.  nobody films doctors...and they kill way more people than cops.
Doctors are filmed all the time. Its a growing trend really.
ya but not really that much.  its not that common at public hospitals...which is tax money.  so they are public servents also.

what would happen if i walked in with a camera and started filming?  ya dont answer cuz you know what would happen.

Doctors have a legal obligation to their patients. Of course you couldn't violate that. However, get the patients permission, and you likely could.

I answered.

i dont see these cop watchers getting the peoples permission....  you are dodging.  you damn well know it would not be allowed.  period.  just admit it.  i know it kills your argument but you know its the truth.

Instead of spending their time and energy actually observing for criminal behavior and aiding the police in making the streets safer for citizens, they choose to watch the police instead. What a bunch of assholes.

There is no legal right to privacy in public. There is a legal right concerning healthcare. You are right, you could not "walk in and just start filming", it would be illegal for you to violate the patients right to privacy. Get it?

I don't see the difference between IA and these guys. In terms of "stupid people watching the cops instead of helping them catch criminals"

I agree that it's abit lame to be doing it for free during your spare time (perhaps, but some might feel strongly about it enough to do so) but there's really nothing wrong with it. I don't see the fuss, do you want them to be banned from doing so, or something? How does that even remotely fit into your ideology of the great free country and power to the people and fuck the government and all that?

I could work on that for you, if you really wanted. For the right circumstances, and a fee.

Don't know to many retired lawyers. I know plenty of lawyers that are well over the age, they just don't do it.

yeah and? IA, does everything I said. They investigate suspected mis-conduct. They do not go around filming every cop hoping to bust them.

there is a difference betwen this and the OP.

Like any career, there pros and cons. Parts I love, parts I hate. I know an equestrian veterinarian that makes my income four times over. Maybe one day I'll be able to command more, but there is no shortage in lawyers, so its kinda cut throat.

I made 22 thousand dollars for the 12 months I served in iraq as an infantryman with over 10 thousand kilometers of patrol distance under my belt.  anything is better than that in terms of effort vs reward.  I made more money collecting unemployment when i got out.

So cops film themselves in almost everything they do, but it's differant that it's not IA. Even though IA usually wants to know FIRST thing in their investigations? Recordings are EVERYWHERE in the judicial system.

It took me over 7 years of 12-13 hour days, after school, to say I made ANY money. Beat that.

And I put over 200,000 miles in to boot.

Learn to see the other side of an arguement. This will help you counter it, even if you agree. Research Research Research (a good paralegal is invaluable). Your job is a lot easier, if someone has already done it in the past.
