I'm thinking about making a website that I could put on a business card that would basically be an online resume/CV of myself. What do you guys think of this idea? Bad or good?

I'd rather have more control over my page and format it how I wish. Besides, LinkedIn isn't exactly that popular here in Austria at the moment.
I'd do it all on my own via Google Sites and then tie a domain name into said Google Site creation. What do you think?
