How many letters do you get before they come knocking, and is it true you can just wait till they come round before you pay them because they can't afford to take you to court?
Just making sure, my housemate insists that's how it works, and i've never had to pay it before.

license = verb
licence = noun

At least that's the case for British English. Similar to practice/practise. I believe American English tends to only use *ice

Also, I'm not really fussed about having to pay it, but try getting housemates to pay a quarter each if they don't think you need to. And I'm definitely not paying it on my own.

You have to have a TV licence even if you use a PC to watch TV they even make you have one if you use your phone as well. Fuckers.
oh BTW they have no right of entry unless they have coppers & a search warrant tell em to fuck off. remember they have to prove you use your equipment to watch TV. TV wankers said
