Figured it was about time for one of these threads. The past couple of days I've run across some really poor servers, which is expected with any online game. I'll relate some of my experiences:
a server i joined yesterday (i forgot the name) had the rule of "no clan tags or prefixes" yet they advertised a teamspeak server on the banner. what this says to me is they have a clan, and only want to beat up on pubbers, since i was kicked for the bf2s prefix. who the hell cares about someone's clan tags? all this is going to do is attract clans who will remove their tags, and rape the server. good luck with that.
a second server, (also forgot the name, damn old age) kicked me for "using the tank too much." i knew this was bound to happen sooner or later. i had a good squad, all engis who were more than willing to repair the tanks. we were basically rolling into any flag we wanted with no problems. admins decide their panties were getting itchy, so they blamed us for it and kicked me. the ones who begged for IO are apparently kids who would never publicly post about it, since everyone will rip on them for having no skill. they must complain directly to DICE or something...
please share your experiences, so we can avoid these places ahead of time. next time i'll remember the server info, i hope
