The fact that she's sane.
Can't say the same about the people next in line though, I say we abolish the royal family once she's gone. Let the Royals quit whilst they're ahead, so to speak.liquidat0r wrote:

The only people who feel entitled to shit now are the northerners (no surprise) and London.

73 constituencies. 38 are Labour. 28 are Conservatives. 7 are Lib Dems. Breaking down the popular vote.sandwich wrote:

36.6% voted Labour. 34.5% voted Conservatives and 22.1% voted Lib Dems. It's not a big Labour heartland like the North always is.

And lol @ people not being able to vote because we ran out of ballot papers at some polling stations. I'm still surprised that this country is using ballot papers instead of electronic machines. Come on now, if a developing country like India with an electorate of about 700 million can do it electronically, how or why the hell are we still in the 20th century using paper and archaic shit like that.
Watching the BBC program last night with the students running with the ballot boxes to the counting hall just made me think wtf.

I think my constituency was the only one to deal with the fuck ups with queues sensibly. When they saw they weren't all going to get to vote, they herded them all inside and gave them ballot papers. Once you've got your ballot paper they have to let you vote, even after the deadline.Mekstizzle wrote:

Just closing the doors on people seems fucked up to me.
As a Lib Dem supporter I'm loving the free for all Lib Dem policy give away at the moment and have my fingers crossed for a cabinet position for Vince Cable...
This vote proves a point and restores my faith in the English somewhat.
1.It proves that their are allot of right wing English BNP Nazi loving lunatics who post here.
2.As the percentages are different than the national election, at least such lunatics don't make up large portion of brits.

It goes for the internet in general. I always see comments everywhere talking about how awesome the BNP are, and all this and that, and how popular those comments are, but in real life it's all small changeJahManRed wrote:

Of the 14 people who voted BNP in the poll here, I'm willing to bet, none of them are even elegible to vote in the election and if so were doing it as a joke. I highly doubt anyone on this forum agrees with what the BNP are saying and that they aren't racist. It's easy to have good policies when you have no chance of getting elected, but the BNP don't even have good policies.
Have you read the BNP thread in EE?The Sheriff wrote:

Lol, was just joking, but on a more serious note, the north and parts of london are basically the only places that labour got votes.Mekstizzle wrote:

The proportion map shows the real North/South divide in the UK (more or less, but really it's just showing the Urban/Rural divide)
The North has loads of urban and industrialised areas spread out whereas everything is concentrated in London in the south
