In other words...........what guns do you own......if any?
I'll go first........and keep in mind.........I'm in dental school with no income, and lots of bills.......so I'd own many more if I could. But, here is what I DO have:
Savage .22 rifle. Small, light, accurate, semi-auto with 10 shot clip........a great .22 rifle. Definitely reccommended as a first gun for anyone (it was my first "real" gun).
Ruger 22/45..........to me, this is the quintessential .22 caliber pistol. I has the bull barrel (thick....not that stupid tapered crap) and a 45 style pistol grip. It's a great gun.
Steyr M40..............40 caliber pistol. Absolutely awesome. If you like Glocks, you'll LOVE this gun. Back when I purchased this gun, it was an AMAZING deal.....because no one knew about them. Since then, the price has gone up, but they are still a GOOD deal. If anyone wants a 40 cal with the recoil of a typical 9mm.......or for that matter, a 9mm with the recoil of a typical .380..........look into the Steyr M series pistols.
Keltec Sub2000. This is a folding stock carbine style 9mm rifle that uses Glock mags. Honestly, I classify this gun as a "novelty" as it has littly real usefulness.......it's fun, but I get annoyed with it because I'm left handed, which makes the mag release too easy to accidentally push, and the chamber has the habit of spitting hot gun powder redisue in my face after firing. It kinda burns.
Keltec P11. This is just the 9mm pistol that I keep in my car. I got it because I wanted a cheap pistol to keep in my car. Unfortunately, I haven't shot it enough to know how it really performs.......which is sad, because I keep it in my car for "emergency" purposes. If it doesn't fire in an emergency, then I guess I'm screwed. But, the one time that I did take it out and fire it, it had a couple jams, which kind of disheartened me. I've told myself ever since that it was just "new" and needed to be broken in, and have a few hundred rounds through it..........but I've haven't since got the chance to take it out shooting.
Rock River Arms AR-15. What more is there to say? It's an AR-15!
Mossberg 500. This is a great shotgun. I've got the one with the 8 round magazine........but when I first purchased it, I noticed that it would only accept 4 rounds, despite it's advertisement as "8 round capacity." Well, as it turns out, they put a 5 inch long dowel of wood into the front of the chamber to reduce its capacity. Luckily I had the brains to figure that out. Unscrew the front of the chamber........remove the piece of wood........and voila.........4 more rounds in the magazine. My brother bought me a pistol style fore grip for it, and with this thing on, I can fire this PUMP shotgun faster than most SEMI-AUTO shotguns. My brother and I, and some friends, were out skeet shooting.....and I was easily outshooting a guy that was with us, who was well known amongst them to be a skilled skeet shooter........and he was firing a semi-auto. He commented many times that he was amazed at how fast I could fire the pump.
That's all I've got.............that I can think of...............so let us know what kinda heat you're packing in REAL life........forget the game, cause we all know you don't really have an F2000.
